Larazotide (also known as AT-1001) is an investigational eight-amino acid peptide designed to regulate tight junctions in the intestinal lining. Zonulin Receptor Antagonism

Larazotide acts as a zonulin antagonist, binding to receptors on the intestinal epithelium.
